Ms. Mary started at Country Kids in
2007 as a float aide assisting teachers in all of our
classrooms. Most of the day she can be found in the infant
room helping Ms. Cathy with all the babies. Ms. Mary enjoys
guiding the younger children as they discover play. She
likes spending time on the floor teaching an infant how to
play with a toy, whether they are rolling a ball to each
other or pushing buttons on an interactive toy.
Mary and her husband decided to start a
family by adopting their first son in 2000, who is now 7
years old. They added another son to their family in 2005.
The happy parents again flew to Russia to bring home their
second child. The family has created a wonderful loving
bond; something Mary and her husband wanted to have in their
lives.
Ms. Mary left her medical assistant
career to stay home and raise her children. While caring
for her boys at home, Mary got a closer look at language and
speech development through an Early Intervention Program
offered to her son. She has always enjoyed working
one-on-one with a child to better help their development.
When Ms. Mary is not dedicating her
time to our center she can be found at home gardening,
working on a craft project, or taking up her entire dining
room table with scrap booking materials as she updates her
family albums.
